We greatly appreciate the 100m3 of fill delivered free of charge to the Greenpatch site near Gordonvale by Pioneer North Queensland on 5th April 2016.

For the last six months a number of parties steered by Mulgrave Landcare have been lobbying for an improvement in the maintenance of Greenpatch.  Securing road material needed to improve the access road was an issue until PNQ assisted.

The Greenpatch is a special place; it has historical links with locals and visitors and is of significance environmentally and culturally. It’s disheartening to see the area neglected.

PNQ’s generous donation of fill has enabled us to closer reach our short term plan which focuses on upgrading the vehicle access and improving the upstream picnic area parallel with the Mulgrave River.
